Jeep has launched the online build-your-own tool for its important new subcompact crossover, the . With plenty of colors, trim levels, and options to play with, the Renegade configurator can easily take up your afternoon.

As, the 2015 Jeep Renegade comes in four trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trialhawk. Even the base-model, $18, 990 Renegade Sport offers a full exterior color palette, with extroverted choices like Omaha Orange, Solar Yellow, and Sierra Blue. You will pay $1, 495 extra for air conditioning and cruise control, though, and a touchscreen radio with a backup camera costs $890 extra.

The Sport and Latitude trim levels come standard with a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that mates only with a six-speed manual transmission. Four-wheel drive is a $2, 000 option for these models, meaning that you can get a manual-transmission, four-wheel-drive, Renegade Sport for as little as $20, 990 with destination. Opting for the larger, 2.4-liter four-cylinder also gets you a nine-speed automatic transmission and costs $1, 200 for the Sport or $1, 400 for the Latitude. The two highest 2015 trims, Limited and Trailhawk, both come standard with the 2.4-liter engine and automatic transmission.

Other options include “MySky” sunroof panels (either removable or power-retractable) for between $1, 095 and $1, 395 on any model; a $495 towing package for Latitude 4×4, Limited 4×4, and Trailhawk models; and various active safety features like forward collision warning and lane departure warning that cost $995 as part of the Advanced Technology package for Latitude, and Limited models.
