Good cheap street racing cars
1996 Toyota Supra. These things are monsters. It's my dream car. (Cheap dream car).
I drive a 2001 Audi TT quattro coupé 225 AWD 6 speed turbo. Excellent for the streets, but visually it's rather bland. (I do get some head turns though).
1999 Mitsubishi Eclips GSX. You can't live without having drivin one of these.
Any year Mitsubishi Evo. Same as above.
If you're lookin for somethin super cheap, an old honda civic is pretty easy to put some meat into.
The list goes on, but these are my favorites off the top of my head.
Alright, now that I've had some time to sit down and think:
First question you gotta ask yourself is drivetrain. RWD is always the most fun, but I went AWD because of the winters where I live. Once you figure that out, then price. You can find a solid street racing car (usually stock) easily for under 10 grand, sometimes for about 6. After that is where the fun begins. Search up any car you can find that fits the criteria. BMW's make EXCELLENT racers. (Particularly the M3 series). If you want to find some muscle, see if you can dig up an old mustang fastback or a camaro. These are usually pretty pricey. The cars I mentioned earlier are still my top choices, but there are plenty more choices out there. Look for anything 2 door (on some occasions 4 door) with a manual transmission, with a nice open engine compartment so you can drop in whatever fits your needs. Be careful not to go too cheap and make it ricey though..Happy hunting man!
